Private wine tastings, events and receptions can be arranged for groups. Seating is flexible and we can accommodate parties as small as 8 or as large as 150. Corks & Canvas Events Presents: Gold Branch – February 27th 6:00-8:30pm @TLV Capitol Hill
Sip wine while painting the beautiful featured art “Gold Branch”. Corks & Canvas will guide guests through every step of the painting process. $45/person includes one glass of wine, all supplies, instruction, and a 11 x 14 inch canvas. Wine & Chocolate Tasting Party – March 8th 7:30-9:00pm @TLV Capitol Hill
Jazz up your week with a sweet treat: a wine and chocolate tasting. Guests will be treated to a casual tasting of perfectly paired chocolates and wines. Upcoming Classes @TLV Capitol Hill
Note regarding our wine & food classes: Begin or extend learning about wines by tasting with a sommelier. No experience necessary for these ‘no pressure’ classes. Taste and evaluate at least 6 different wines during each class. Educational materials (aka ‘cheat sheets’) provided to take home. Cost: $55/class (unless otherwise noted). Select five classes of your choice for $250. 48 hour cancellation notice required. Classes are limited in size. Wines of the Pacific Northwest Class – February 4th 1:00-2:30pm **FULL**
Learn about the wines that are crafted in our own backyard (meaning several hours away, of course) without leaving Seattle! The Pacific NW has become a major wine producing region. Learn more about the geography, history, and culture while tasting some of the fabulous reds and whites that the area has to offer.
Wine 101 Class – February 11th 1:00-2:30pm **FULL**
This ‘no pressure’ class covers the basics about white and red wines, wine evaluations, tastings and selections. Participants will taste, evaluate and discuss at least six different wines during class. Practice tasting techniques, learn about different wine varietals and ask all of the questions you’ve been too embarrassed to ask before. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about wines – as well as a great gift idea to share with the wine lover (or future wine lover) in your life.
Pinot from Around the World Class – February 25th 1:00-2:30pm **FULL**
Pinot is a wine lover’s grape and it is made into extraordinary wines in many places around the world. We will explore the classic Pinot regions, including Champagne, Burgundy, and Oregon, as well as well as some up-and coming wine regions for Pinot.

Learn some simple tricks that will bring ease and elegance to your home or event. Participants will taste six wines that offer perfect pairing for four artisanal cheeses, while discovering why? Learn everything you need to know to impress colleagues, friends and family! Cost: $65/class

Taste, enjoy, and learn all about California wines, including the best-known and up-and coming California wine regions, why wine grapes grow so well in California, the history of the California wine industry, and more!

In the world of wine, France is special. It is the birthplace of many of the principal grape varieties of the world. It is the ‘mother ship’ from which vine cuttings have been sent around the world. Further, French wines are unique due to the variations in geography and climate, as well as through laws regarding wine-making practices. This class will explore the major wine regions of France while tasting samples of wines from each area.

Spirits 101 Class – TBD
We are definitely wine lovers at TLV, but every now and again we like a shot of something stronger. This class offers a look at the delightful world of distilled liquors – Whiskey, Vodka, Gin, Tequila and more. Get a taste of history along with know-how about stocking the perfect home bar.
Wines of Spain & Portugal Class – TBD
From earthy Riojas to exquisite vintage Ports, Spain and Portugal have been making delicious, affordable wines for centuries. We’ll cover the basics so you’ll know just what to buy the next time you find yourself in Barcelona – or at your local wine shop!
